A major cement distributor in Chittagong needed to increase daily dispatch from 500 to 2,000 tonnes while reducing loading time from 25 to under 10 minutes.
System Design
- Storage: 2x5,000T spiral steel silos (10m diameter x 20m height)
- Loading: 2 automated truck loading bays with telescopic enclosed spouts
- Weighing: 100T truck weighbridge with automatic tare recording
- Dust control: Integrated bag filter, less than 10 mg/m3 emission
- Software: Loading management with vehicle ID, weight tickets, daily reports
Results
- Loading time: 7 minutes average
- Daily dispatch: 2,200 tonnes achieved
- Weighing accuracy: plus/minus 0.3%
- Dust emission: undetectable at property boundary
