Reverse Pulse Jet Dust Collector for Silo Venting

When bulk material enters a silo, the displaced air carries significant dust concentration—up to 500 g/m³ for fine powders like cement or fly ash. Our reverse pulse jet dust collector captures this dust with 99.9% efficiency, returning clean air to atmosphere and recovered material back to the silo.

How Pulse Jet Cleaning Works

Contaminated air enters the filter housing and passes through polyester or PTFE membrane filter bags. Dust accumulates on the bag surface, forming a "filter cake" that actually improves filtration efficiency. When the pressure drop reaches a set threshold (typically 1,500-2,000 Pa), a burst of compressed air (5-7 bar) is injected through the bag opening, flexing the bag and dislodging the cake into the collection hopper below.
