Disc Feeder for Cement Plant
Disc Feeder for Cement Plant
Reliable Continuous Feeding Equipment for Cement, Mining, Coal and Bulk Material Handling Systems
Stable and Accurate Bulk Material Feeding Solution
Disc feeders are particularly suitable for feeding powdery, granular, and small lump materials from storage bins, silos, hoppers, and stockpiles to downstream equipment such as belt conveyors, bucket elevators, crushers, grinding mills, and batching systems.
The equipment consists of a rotating circular disc driven by a motor and reducer. As the disc rotates, material is carried toward the outlet and discharged by an adjustable scraper mechanism. By adjusting the scraper position, material layer thickness, and rotational speed, operators can precisely control feeding capacity according to process requirements.
With its robust construction, adjustable feeding capacity, and reliable operation, the disc feeder has become one of the most commonly used feeding devices in cement production lines and industrial bulk material handling systems.
Key Features & Advantages
Uniform & Continuous Feeding
The rotating disc ensures smooth and uninterrupted material flow, reducing process fluctuations and improving production stability.
Adjustable Feed Rate
Material output can be easily adjusted through scraper position, gate opening, and rotational speed for accurate dosing control.
Heavy-Duty Load Capacity
Large slewing bearing structures enable the feeder to withstand substantial material loads and high hopper pressures.
High Transmission Efficiency
Hardened gear drive systems provide transmission efficiency of up to 95%, ensuring reliable long-term performance.
Anti-Blocking Design
Short discharge tube construction minimizes material bridging, blockage, and buildup during operation.
Low Maintenance & Long Service Life
Durable wear-resistant components, sealed transmission systems, and a simple mechanical structure reduce maintenance costs.
Disc Feeder Types
DK Type Disc Feeder (Open Structure)
The DK series adopts an open-frame design, providing easy inspection, convenient maintenance, simple adjustment, and lower equipment costs.
Recommended for limestone, coal, sand, and other non-dust-sensitive bulk materials.
DB Type Disc Feeder (Enclosed Structure)
The DB series adopts a fully enclosed design, providing dust-proof operation, reduced material loss, improved environmental protection, and a cleaner working environment.
Recommended for cement powder, fly ash, coal dust, and other fine powder materials.
